Camp Fire Minnesota is accredited by the American Camp Association® (ACA). To earn this accreditation we undergo a thorough (up to 300 standards) review of our operations – from staff qualifications and training to emergency management. ACA collaborates with experts from the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Red Cross and other youth-serving agencies to assure that current practices at the camp reflect the most up-to-date, research-based standards in camp operation.

Camp Fire Minnesota’s programs help youth thrive. Our program and evaluation tools are based on the Thrive Framework developed by the Thrive Foundation for Youth. The Thrive Framework draws on Sparks research from Peter Benson and the Search Institute.

Camp Fire Minnesota receives funding as an agency partner of the Greater Twin Cities United Way.
